Become Your Dream

As soon as school started I noticing the words “Become Your Dream” graffiti-ed  around discarded furniture new my apartment. This messages seem to make me smile everyday. I recently discovered that they are tags from artist James De La Vega. Here are some snapshots of his inspirational messages:

August: The Lost Days of Summer

I started August in a jet-lagged panic in search of a job and an apartment. The last three weeks seem to mesh together into a long struggle. I am glad to say that I am halfway accomplished and now moving in with my roomie to the Upper East Side. With my job search continuing and the school year approaching quickly, I look back at August for the lost days of summer. I wonder how they’ll ever be recover.
